To update the Citi Easy Deals site we needed to clean up the layout and bring a focus on the lifestyle aspect of the brand.
To make the site more friendly we brought in a bold yet warm look throught the site. Expansive imagery was used to highlight the main sections and draw attention to the deals. Overall the design approach was bigger and simpler.
Action & Execution
The navigation was greatly simplified to make the user experience much easier. Bigger product images were used throughout to draw the user in.
Previously with Citi Easy Deals, the only live element on the homepage were the Daily Deals. To increase interest, we decided to add a live auctions area as well as the live Daily Deal, to keep users coming back. As a simplified version of the homepage, we wanted an easy and scrollable experience. The jump to responsive was also a big reason to simplify all areas of the site.
